This year’s Brain-Cave Festival will be a four-day festival hosted by Europa in Greenpoint, with additional Performances at From The Source, at the Greenpointers.com Market, on April 13th! All performances at Europa will include projections curated / created by the video collective, (collabo!). With more than thirty bands and acts including Peelander-Z, Hooray For Earth, Lemonade, J.Viewz, The Suzan, BLack Cobra and MANY MORE, you won’t want to miss it!

for its inaugural show, BORN INTO THIS (december 16, 2011) the collective ART PUSSY used Cara Bella’s contacts and connections to curate the musical selections. Held at 49 Wyckoff Avenue, the loft space transformed into a full on audio/visual experience for one magical evening. Over 500 guests attended. (collabo!) filmed the event. Audio was done by Paper Box. Video support was provided by Kode Zero.

IN OCTOBER 2011, Cara Bella traveled to Los Angeles with She Keeps Bees, Kode Zero, and (collabo!) on behalf of Orta Blu, a socially-responsible denim company based in Istanbul, Turkey. The event was held at the design collective Roark with liquor sponsor Veev. Orta and Roark teamed up to provide jeans and a pizza party for homeless youth at The Covenant House LA.

IN SEPTEMBER 2011, Cara Bella worked with Kode Zero and (collabo!) to present an Orta Blu event @ Skylight West. Queens-based band The Beets were the featured performers. DJ T*O*N*Y was featured on the 1s and 2s. Liquor sponsor Pavoneo kept the crowd wet.

BRAIN CAVE FESTIVAL (2011) was a celebration of Brooklyn’s raw talent held at Brooklyn’s Shea Stadium on April 9th, featuring 17 radical bands and four eclectic DJs showcased alongside live painting and artwork. Brain-Cave delivered a 12-hour explosion of artistic stimulii that encouraged social experimentation by fusing bands, visual artists, DJs and alternative venues.
